Basis for Assessment
Stream assessment forms indicate below avg. habitat quality. Very little substrate diversity and few pool/riffle sequences observed at 3 locations assessed for habitat. Frequent pasture use and channelization impacts noted. Frequent stream bank erosion also noted. Fair diversity of fish observed; several species are not representative of small creeks and are indicative of influence of Badger Creek Lake in headwaters.
