Basis for Assessment
The assessments from the 1994 and 1996 reports were reivewed and approved by the DNR Fisheries Bureau. Thus, the Class B(LW) aquatic life uses were assessed as PS due to high levels of siltation and nutrients from nonpoint sources. Support of the Class A (primary contact recreation) uses remains "not assessed" due to lack of information. At the recommendation of the DNR Fisheries Bureau, this lake was placed on the 1998 list of Section 303(d) waters due to high levels of siltation and nutrients from nonpoint sources in the watershed.
