Three stream use assessments in 1990.
Basis for Assessment
Continue to use the assessment of support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses (=PS) developed for the 1996 report. A review of the field sheets from the October 1990 DNR stream use assessments shows that less than a majority of the expected fish taxa were present at either site (3 of 8 & 4 of 8) with relatively low numbers of species (6 species from 3 families & 5 species from 2 families). Follow-up monitoring is needed to update this assessment, to determine the status of the aquatic communities, and to determine the degree to which the Class B(LR) uses may be impaired.
