Basis for Assessment
The assessments from the 1994 and 1996 reports (above) were reviewed and approved by the DNR Fisheries Bureau. Thus, the Class A (primary contact recreation) uses and the Class B(LW) aquatic life uses remain assessed as PS. At the recommendation of the DNR Fisheries Bureau, this lake was placed on the 1998 list of Section 303(d) waters due to levels of turbidity and organic enrichment that impair the Class A and Class B(LW) uses.
