Stream use assessment.

Basis for Assessment

Stream assessment form indicates above average habitat quality.  A diversity of substrates and occasional riffles observed.   Much of stream reach assessed was long pools and slow run habitat.  Good water depth and structure provided by snags, root wads, and boulders.   Old channeliz.  and levying evident.   Fairly good number of fish species observed.   Large volume of water made it difficult to electrofish effectively.   Ch.  catfish were common.   Two juvenile walleye were also captured.
