Basis for Assessment
Had no information on which to assess the Class B(WW) fish consumption uses, the Class A (swimmable) uses, or the Class C (drinking water) uses. Nearest upstream monitoring is conducted approx. 1 mile downstream from Red Rock Reservoir. Thus, used general information from the March/April 1996 issue of the "Iowa Conservationist" to assess support of the Class B(WW) uses as FST due to recommendations in this reach of river for channel catfish and flathead catfish fishing.
