Assessment is based on results of (1) lake monitoring and (2) surveys by IDNR Fisheries Bureau.

Basis for Assessment

Continued to use the assessment of support of the Class A primary contact recreation and Class B(LW) aquatic life uses developed for the 1994 report (both=PS).  These assessments were reviewed by the DNR Fisheries Bureau.  At the recommendation of the DNR Fisheries Bureau, this lake was placed on the list of Section 303(d) waters due to problems with organic enrichment and nuisance levels of planktonic algae.
