Stream use assessment.

Basis for Assessment

Used a review of the field sheet from the November 1990 DNR stream use assessment in Davis County to continue to use the assessment of support of the Class B(LR) aquatic life uses developed for the 1996 report (=FST) due to (1) presence of a moderately diverse fish community (11 species from 3 families) for streams in the Central Irregular Plains (40) ecoregion and (2) presence of a majority of the expected fish taxa (5 of 8) for streams in this ecoregion.   The field sheet indicates that frequent stream bank erosion is the most serious impacts to habitat quality of this stream.   The data upon which this assessment is based are more than 5 years old.  Additional monitoring is needed to update the assessment and to determine the status of the aquatic communities and habitats.
