Welcome to Iowa's STORET Water Quality Database
The ambient water quality program is a diverse program responsible for the collection, analysis and dissemination of information on Iowa’s rivers, lakes, groundwater and wetlands. Physical, chemical, biological and habitat data are administered as part of this program. Iowa’s STORET / WQX database is managed by the Watershed Monitoring and Assessment Section of the Iowa Geological and Water Survey Bureau - Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
